University Avenue Pipeline Replacement Project

December Work Schedule Update: 12-3-2015

Dear Mission Hills BID Members:

On December 3, 2015 the City of San Diego advised the BID that Burtech will be working on Washington Avenue west of Dove Street to Goldfinch during December (starting at Dove and Washington and progressing west). The work will be performed at night, when the majority of businesses are closed. The crews will be installing the water main. After this stretch of pipe is installed, the crews will move to the area of 8th Avenue at University and move south to the cul-de-sac.

This is a three year very significant infrastructure improvement project in a very dense and busy area with lots of challenges. The City continues to offer reassurances that the project team is doing their best to adjust hours, work with restaurants and other special situations that arise.
