Maintenance Assessment District (MAD) Bus Bench on West Washington Street Relocated

Bus bench previously removed during pandemic relocated on West Washington Street

At the request of The Red Door owner and chef, Luciano Cibelli, a bus bench owned by the Washington Street Maintenance Assessment District (MAD) has found a new spot on the street. During the early part of of the COVID-19 pandemic, the bus bench was removed temporarily from in front of 741 W. Washington Street in order to better accommodate outdoor dining in front of The Red Door.

Thanks to coordination between the Mission Hills BID, Mission Hills Parking Advisory Committee, Washington Street Maintenance Assessment District, and MTS staff, the bench has now been re-installed, just slightly farther east on the street in between 729 W. Washington Street and 719 W. Washington Street.
