Those wishing to learn more are invited to their Community Wildfire Safety Event on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

This event will include a information on how to be prepared in the event of a fire in our community. There will be presentations from the San Diego Fire Dept. Wildfire Prevention & Mitigation Team and the City of San Diego Open Space Brush Management Team.
Mission Hills’ Fire Engine #8 will also be on site at 10am.
