Parking changes on Fort Stockton Drive: Multispace Meters and Pay-by-Plate signs

A City of San Diego posted sign showing instructions on how to Pay-by-Plate or to scan a QR code to download an app and pay. The sign shows 2 hour parking is enforced Monday - Saturday from 8AM - 6PM, with Sundays and certain holiday excepted.

Multi-space Meters and Pay-by-Plate signs installed in the 900 block of Fort Stockton Drive

On Thursday, January 23, 2025, the City of San Diego implemented changes to on-street parking in the 900 block of Ft. Stockton Drive.

Several single parking meters have been replaced with a multi-space meter on the north side of the street to increase sidewalk width and comply with ADA regulations.

City crews also relocated an existing multi-space meter on the south side of the street, partially obstructed by vegetation, to be more visible to parkers.

Parking Payment Options

Park Smarter App:

  • Download the Park Smarter app to pay for parking from your phone.
  • No need to visit meter.
  • Extend your time (up to the two-hour time limit) remotely, right from your phone.

Pay at the Multi-Space Meter:

  • Take note of your license plate number.
  • Pay with credit card at the meter.*

*Multi-space meters are located mid-block of Fort Stockton Drive between Hawk Street and Goldfinch Street.
