San Diego County Fair Banner Partnership in Mission Hills 2020

It is San Diego County Fair Banner Photo Time!

For members of the Mission Hills Business Improvement District, once again this year, we have a fun opportunity to be on a banner in partnership with the San Diego County Fair! There will be a total of 67 Banners installed throughout Mission Hills for 7+ weeks. The price of $80 per banner includes a  photo session which will take place in Mission Hills on Friday February 28 between 10:00 AM and 12:00PM.

The 67 Photo spots/banners will sell quickly!

If you are interested in participating please read all of the below information and then contact us (link below) ASAP to request a registration form and have your fee collected. Once the form and payment is collected the photo session location and a 5-minute time slot will be offered to you.

Information from the San Diego County Fair:

In partnership with the San Diego County Fair, the Mission Hills BID will host a professional photo session to create 67 banners featuring a photo of 67 Mission Hills Business Owner. Each photo will be placed on a vibrant San Diego County Fair banner and installed on Mission Hills lamp posts during the San Diego County Fair.  Installation will be approximately 7 weeks from mid-May to July 4, as a part of the Mission Hills Banner program rotation. Pow! Wham! Shazam! Superheroes are the stars of this year’s San Diego County Fair!  The theme is Heroes, Unite!

2020 Rules from the San Diego County Fair:

There is a two person per banner photo maximum.  Holding a small pet is an acceptable addition. Large Mission Hills’ business logos on clothing are acceptable.  Restaurants may feature their chef showing off a delectable platter of food.  Florists may hold a large and colorful floral arrangement.  “HERO COSTUMES” and “TOOLS OF THE TRADE” are encouraged. A good example featuring Mission Hills BID board President J. Daniel Geddis and his businesses mascot Mr. Brambles, both of Team D&B at One Mission Realty, is included above.

NO SIGNS WILL BE ALLOWED.

Multiple Banners?

If for any reason all banners are not purchased, a single business may purchase additional banners at the rate of $80 per banner.

Deadline:

The deadline for completion of forms and funds is Friday, February 21, 2020, as long as they are available. In prior years the banners have sold out early, so reserve your space now.
