San Diego County Fair Community Banner Photo Opportunity – 2023
New short-term banner opportunity – be featured on a San Diego County Fair Community Banner installed throughout Mission Hills in 2023
After a three year hiatus, the San Diego County Fair is once again creating community banners and has invited the Mission Hills BID to partner with them this year in a program featuring our business owners and community based organization presidents on San Diego County Fair banners installed on lamp posts throughout Mission Hills from mid-May through July 4, 2023. Approximately 7 weeks!
A professional photographer will take all banner photos on Wednesday, March 1, from 9:00AM – 12:00PM at one location in Mission Hills. Once your form and payment are received the location will be emailed to you. Each banner is priced at $125. You may purchase up to 2 banners. First come, first served. At no extra cost, the BID will have your banners available for you to pick up, when the installation ends.
The theme of this year’s San Diego County Fair is “GET OUT THERE!” in celebration of the diversity of outdoor experiences that San Diego County is known for, including exploring some of the natural beauty around us. “OUTDOOR WEAR, SPORTSWEAR, AND SMALL SPORTING EQUIPMENT” and “TOOLS OF THE TRADE” are encouraged.
2023 Rules from the San Diego County Fair:
One person per banner photo has been recommended by the photographer. Holding a small pet is an acceptable addition. Large Mission Hills’ business logos on clothing are acceptable. Maybe feature the chef/staff/owner showing off a delectable platter of food? How about a large and colorful floral arrangement? A good example featuring Mission Hills BID board President Daniel Geddis, of Team D&B at One Mission Realty wearing bird watching apparel, is included on the San Diego County Fair Banner Photo registration form, available below. Want to Participate?
This opportunity is available to members of the Mission Hills BID and Mission Hills community based organization presidents. If you wish to purchase a banner, please complete and return the attached application form with payment of $125 per banner (2 banner maximum) to 325 West Washington Street, #2228, San Diego, CA 92103 on or before February 24, 2023. Once your form and payment have been received, the professional photo session location and a time between 9:00 and noon will be offered to you.
