SANDAG Draft 2021 Regional Plan Informational Open Houses this Summer

The following information and schedule virtual open houses was shared with the Mission Hills BID by SANDAG. Please read below to learn more about the SANDAG Draft 2021 Regional Plan:


You’re invited to an upcoming virtual open house

The draft 2021 Regional Plan is available for public comment from May 28 through July 30, 2021. During this time, we courage you to engage, attend a virtual open house, read the plan, and leave a public comment.

SANDAG is hosting a series of virtual open houses throughout the month of June to give residents the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the draft 2021 Regional Plan. The informational open houses will feature a presentation about the benefits of the draft 2021 Regional Plan and attendees are encouraged to join the meeting focused closest to their residence. Simultaneous interpretation in Spanish will be provided. Registration is not required.

The SANDAG open houses will be followed by virtual public hearings at upcoming SANDAG Board of Directors and Transportation Committee meetings in July.

The draft 2021 Regional Plan outlines the key strategies, projects, and priorities being explored to enhance the region’s transportation, equity, and climate action goals through a more connected transportation system for all San Diegans.
